Can you give a brief background of the company?

IceWarp is a global leader for developing email communication and collaboration solutions. Headquartered in Prague, IceWarp has been operating globally since 2001. IceWarp entirely changes the concept of how teams share information online and optimise business processes through its streamlined & seamless team collaboration solutions, by providing an ultimate all-in-one collaboration platform and a whole new family of apps with real-time collaboration tools, easy sharing options, integration of various virtual office functions right at user’s fingertips by integrating everything they need under a single login – Email, TeamChat, and Storage.

IceWarp offers its users ease of use, security, and efficiency through its complete solution for all their office work in a single window, without needing any third-party applications. IceWarp aims at continuous and comprehensive innovation considering current trends and requirements of more than 50 million paid users and 50,000 customers worldwide. IceWarp is currently present across 50+ countries and has already acquired more than 1200+ customers in India within a span of 6 years.

Currently, IceWarp is the only alternative to MS Exchange, Office 365, and G Suite.

What are IceWarp’s key focus areas and who are your key clients in the Indian market?

Our focus and traction are to move our on-premises customers to cloud and also focusing on non-IceWarp customers to be moved to IceWarp. We are working in various domains with various companies— SMEs, MSMEs and large enterprises. We have brands like Amul, IDFC Bank, Fedbank, PMC Bank, SBI, Alkem Laboratories, Akumentis Healthcare, Thyrocare, Regaliz Medicare and many other big brands as our valued customers.

In a span of five years, we have garnered a modest number of small, medium and enterprise-level businesses that are witnessing how we have transformed the concept of how their teams share information online and collaborate internally and externally. For us, the top revenue drivers are BFSI, pharmaceutical, healthcare, manufacturing and BPOs.

How have the communication needs of enterprises evolved over time?

Witnessing the current situation of pandemic and its hazardous effect around the world, the priority for all the enterprise IT teams have completely shifted to team collaboration tools, ensuring seamless communication. Various departments of organizations have been focusing on being able to connect without compromising on productivity.

In such situations, tools like video and team collaboration have been playing a very vital role since last year, for the organizations to manage seamless connectivity with the employees and clients. Furthermore, CIOs of different enterprises have agreed with the importance of these tools, thus the demand for team collaboration tools has witnessed a predominant growth over the years. In the current scenario every organization is looking to have the right solution in order to connect, communicate and collaborate within and outside the ecosystem, and to ensure business continuity, the collaboration tools have continued to remain as an important part of the CIO’s plans.

How has the hybrid working culture upscaled over the years? What are the key security considerations in remote working scenarios and how are you catering to this segment?

Hence, the security threats have been our major concern during the Covid-19 crisis, therefore, security is utmost important, and that’s something we at IceWarp truly believe and ensure the organization’s safety and security of data, with a critically designed secured system.

What will be IceWarp’s growth and expansion strategies over the coming years for the Indian market?

We at IceWarp have witnessed an unprecedented growth in the last 6 years of our existence in the Indian market. Although we are a Global Brand with our presence across 50+ countries, we had initial challenges to overcome in the Indian market. But today we are proudly provisioning our services to 1200+ customers across the nation and growing every year in double digits. We have been getting the support from the industry in terms of accepting our product as the best and only alternative to MS Exchange, Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace and we have been bestowed with awards and accolades too.
