Huawei Technologies has chalked out elaborate plans to consolidate its presence in India.

According to news reports, the vendor is planning to increase investment and enhance operations of its Indian subsidiary. The company is aiming at becoming the preferred vendor to help operators roll out 4G services in India.

Currently, according to company officials, Huawei?s Indian subsidiary accounted for $1.2 billion in revenues in 2011. Going forward, the vendor plans to increase this by 40 per cent this year.
