Huawei has introduced the Ascend D2 smartphone, which houses a 5 inch screen and functions on the Android-based 4.1 operating system.

It is powered by a 1.5 GHz quad-core processor and also packs in a 13 megapixel camera and support for 3G, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth technologies.

Commenting on the launch, Richard Yu, CEO, Huawei Consumer Business Group, says, “The Huawei Ascend D2 has the style, power and all-round performance capabilities you would expect from a Huawei Ascend smartphone, but with a revolutionary FHD screen, unsurpassed camera quality and power saving technology to maximise your enjoyment.”
