GX Group, a fibre-to-the-home (FTTH) and optical networking equipment manufacturer, on May 6, 2025 launched its ‘Ecoverse’ range of Wi-Fi routers crafted from khadi and bamboo.
As per the company, the Ecoverse Wi-Fi 6 and Wi-Fi 7 routers will feature khadi, am eco-friendly fabric made from cotton, silk, and wool, integrated into their design.
As India moves toward becoming the world’s second-largest fibre broadband market with 110 million active lines expected by 2030, the environmental challenges posed by telecom infrastructure are likely to grow.
