Gunjan Dave assumes interim charge as DCC member

Gunjan Dave, posted as deputy director general (DDG) of Gujarat licenced service area (LSA), has been appointed as a member – technology at the Digital Communication Commission (DCC) after the superannuation of Sanjeev Agarwal.

According to the Department of Telecommunications (DoT), as an interim measure and subject to the approval of the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet, Dave will be the advisor for three months with effect from June 1, 2023, to August 31, 2023, or until further order.

In March 2022, Dave was assigned the role of DDG of Gujarat LSA. Her previous role was as the principal general manager at Mahanagar Telephone Nigam Limited (MTNL). Dave will report to K Rajaraman, chairman, DCC and secretary (Telecommunications), DoT.
