Lu Shyue-Ching, chief operating officer and chairman, Chunghwa Telecom has resigned from the company.

Shyue-Ching was serving as the chief operating officer and chairman of the company since 2008. His role is going to taken over by the existing president of the company, Lee Yen-Sung. Further, the operator will promote its executive vice-president, Shih Mu-Piao as president.

Chunghwa president Lee Yen-Sung will take over Lu’s position as chairman and CEO, while senior EVP Shih Mu-Piao has been promoted to president.
