Government aims for 100 per cent telecom connectivity in all villages within next 12 months

Jyotiraditya Scindia, Union Minister of Communications and Development of North Eastern Region, announced that 100 per cent coverage of villages in terms of telecom connectivity in the country is targeted in the next 12 months.

The minister added that special funds have been sanctioned by the cabinet in relation with the aim to achieve 100 per cent coverage of villages.
