The BT Group Plc has announced that Gavin Patterson will succeed Ian Livingston as chief executive officer (CEO), effective from September onwards.
Livingston will continue as CEO until he steps down from his post and from BT?s Board in September this year.
Prior to this, Patterson served as CEO of BT Retail and has been a member of the BT Group?s board since 2008. He joined the company four years prior to that.
