
In an effort to further strengthen its market position, Ericsson has undertaken a restructuring exercise at the top management level.
The company has reorganised its global team by appointing three new heads – Rafiah Ibrahim for Middle East, Sam Saba for South East Asia and Oceania, and Charlotta Sund for Northern Europe and Central Asia. The three will serve as key members of Ericsson?s global leadership team.
Ibrahim, currently head of marketing, broadcast services at the company, has 30 years of industry experience. In the past Ibrahim has served in senior leadership position at Ericsson including country manager, Bangladesh, head of global customer units as well as head of former market unit North Africa.
Saba, currently head of customer unit, Indonesia, has led sales and operations roles in South East Asia and in Middle East. Meanwhile, Sund has 25 years of industry experience and in the past she has served as head, product and business development, and head, multimedia and systems integration for Ericsson?s former market unit – Nordic and Baltics.
