Ericsson has been awarded a network expansion contract by Indonesia’s Excelcomindo Pratama (XL) to expand the latter’s GSM/GPRS and WCDMA/HSPA services in Indonesia.

Ericsson has been awarded a network expansion contract by Indonesia’s Excelcomindo Pratama (XL) to expand the latter’s GSM/GPRS and WCDMA/HSPA services in Indonesia. Under the three and a half year contract, Ericsson will supply both 2G and 3G radio-access network and MINI-LINK transmission equipment to XL. The move will enable XL to extend its footprint in Indonesia.
