The Delhi High Court has permitted the merger of Bharti Infratel and Indus Towers, say news reports. The merger would be effective from June 11, 2013 onwards.

Indus Towers is a joint venture between Bharti Airtel, Vodafone India and Idea Cellular. Vodafone India and Bharti Airtel own 42 per cent stake each, while Idea Celluar holds 16 per cent stake in the company.
