The Cellular Operators Association of India (COAI) may continue paying an additional revenue share on roaming calls to BSNL until the Telecom Disputes Settlement Appellate Tribunal (TDSAT) decides on the matter. The COAI had approached TDSAT after BSNL challenged TRAI’s directive of not allowing additional revenue share between operators on roaming calls. According to the COAI, if the petition filed by BSNL is rejected, the entire amount paid by private operators should be refunded.
