China Unicom’s GSM mobile phone subscribers total 90.47 million

China’s number two wireless operator China Unicom ha announced that its GSM mobile phone subscribers totalled 90.47 million at the end of July 2005, up from 89.61 million at the end o June. The number of CDMA users increased to 31.32 million a the end of July, compared with 30.92 million the previous month Its internet subscriber base, however, fell to 8.29 million at the end of July from 8.35 million in June.
