China Mobile has selected Alcatel-Lucent Shanghai Bell (Alcatel Lucent’s Chinese flagship company) for deploying its fibre-to the-home (FTTH) network in 10 cities across Guangdong and Anhui provinces.

China Mobile has selected Alcatel-Lucent Shanghai Bell (Alcatel Lucent’s Chinese flagship company) for deploying its fibre-tothe-home (FTTH) network in 10 cities across Guangdong and Anhui provinces. Guangdong Mobile and Anhui Mobile will then build on Alcatel-Lucent’s gigabit passive optical networking (GPON) solution to deliver broadband services over distances of up to 20 km.
