China Mobile Communications Corporation is planning to invest over 15 billion yuan to build TD-SCDMA networks in 2007. The company, which is expected to complete the construction of 8,602 TD-SCDMA base stations in several cities before October 2007, will also complete the purchase of core TD-SCDMA equipment before May 2007. China Mobile is expected to roll out 3G mobile services before the end of October 2007.
