Huawei has bagged a contract from Telenor Pakistan to build its nationwide IP-based dense wavelength division multiplexing (DWDM) network. Singapore-based telecom service provider StarHub has also selected Huawei to provide UMTS/HSPA solutions and support the future upgrades of its 3G mobile network.

As per the agreement, Huawei will provide its distributed Node “Bs” to help StarHub deliver the full capabilities of HSDPA in Singapore in 2007.
