The Bangalore Metro Rail Corporation Limited (BMRCL) has signed a 13-year licence agreement with Advanced Communications and Electronics Systems Company (ACES) India Private Limited to implement and manage telecom infrastructure with the goal of improving mobile connectivity across phase-2 of Namma Metro in Bengaluru.
The agreement, signed on July 14, 2025, covers the installation, operation, and maintenance of telecom infrastructure such as in-building solutions (IBS), base transceiver stations (BTS), cellular towers, and poles. Further, the abovesaid infrastructure will be set up across the four extensions of phase-I and reach-5 and reach-6 of phase-II of the Namma Metro project.
