Bharti Airtel has promoted Vamsi Dasetty as senior vice president and head of human resources (HR) – network and people analytics. Dasetty will oversee human resources for Airtel’s network functions and lead the company’s people analytics initiatives. He will work closely with chief technology officer and network leadership team.
Dasetty, an HR professional with experience in telecom, oil and gas, and management consulting, has held leadership positions at Ola, Vodafone Idea Limited, Cairn India, and McKinsey & Company. He has over a decade of experience in various sectors and has strong linkage to business outcomes and delivery. Moreover, he is an alumni of Symbiosis Institute of Business Management.
Airtel’s decision to elevate Vamsi highlights its focus on strengthening its HR leadership to support its growing network operations and leverage data-driven people management. His diverse expertise is expected to support Airtel’s ambitious initiatives in employee engagement and analytics-driven decision-making.
