
Bharti Airtel has posted its financial results for the fourth quarter of 2013.
For the period under consideration, the operator has posted revenues of Rs 204.28 billion and registered a 49.4 per cent decline in its net profit, at Rs 5.09 billion.
The growth drivers for the fourth quarter of 2013 include a 71 per cent growth in mobile internet in India, a 24 per cent increase in digital TV, a 17 per cent increase in the business-to-business (B2B) segment and a 12.6 per cent increase in the company’s revenues from Africa. The company’s average revenue per user for the period stood at Rs 193.
The company has also released its results for the full financial year 2013. For this period, the company’s revenues increased by 12.4 per cent and stood at Rs 803.11 billion. However, its profits declined by 46.6 per cent and stood at Rs 22.76 billion.
The growth drivers for financial year 2013 included a 66 per cent growth in mobile internet in India, a 26 per cent increase in digital TV, a 19 per cent increase in B2B and a 21.3 per cent increase in the company’s revenues from Africa.
