
Bharti Airtel has registered a 123 per cent increase in its net profits to Rs 12.15 billion for the quarter ended December 31, 2006 from Rs 5.45 billion in the corresponding quarter of the previous year. The company has also posted its highest ever EBITDA margin of 40.8 per cent, against 37 per cent in 2005-06. Moreover, the company’s revenues increased 62 per cent to Rs 49.13 billion during this period.
