Avantel has secured an order worth Rs 101.1 million from Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL) for supplying satellite communication (satcom) equipment – Airborne Version. HAL, a public sector aerospace and defence manufacturer under the Ministry of Defence, will use the equipment to support operational requirements for its aircraft programmes.
Avantel will complete delivery and commissioning by August 10, 2026, with the systems carrying a 24-month warranty from the date of acceptance. Further, the company’s director noted that the HAL engagement underscores Avantel’s commitment to delivering mission-ready, secure satcom solutions for specialised aerospace applications while contributing to India’s self-reliance in critical sectors.
