According to Nama, the telecom sector has already shifted from circuit-oriented services to data-oriented services. “We see a lot of industrial internet of things and content-related services being moved from customer networks to telecom providers. The telecom sector will experience explosive growth in this era of artificial intelligence/machine learning and edge services. The ecosystem is developing rapidly with increased penetration of smart devices, the Digital India Stack (UIDAI, GSTN, E-Way, ONDC, UPI, etc.), and an increase in consumer spend,” he notes.
Nama follows a consultative approach in managing his team. “I run mentorship programmes to transform young talent and nurture them for their future roles.”
Nama lives in Hyderabad along with his family, comprising his wife, their two children and his mother. He likes to unwind by going on road trips, which he finds relaxing and enjoyable. He recently went on a long road trip from Hyderabad to various cities in Madhya Pradesh, including Bhopal, Indore and Ujjain.
