Anil Kumar Lahoti elected as chairman of SATRC

Anil Kumar Lahoti, chairman, Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI), has been unanimously elected as the chairman of the South Asian Telecommunication Regulators’ Council (SATRC).

Previously serving as the vice-chairman of the council, Lahoti succeeds Md Mohiuddin Ahmed, who is the chairman of the Bangladesh Telecommunication Regulatory Commission.
