Cisco’s MD of sales for India and SAARC region, Purushottam Kaushik has resigned. Kaushik had joined Cisco Systems in March 2009 as vice-president, service sales, looking after sales for service providers for around three years. He then took over as director, sales operations, service provider business, for almost two and a half years before taking up the role of MD in August 2014. Kaushik was responsible for creating and managing Cisco’s business worth $2 billion around smart cities, internet of things, public safety and surveillance, and Digital India initiatives. According to industry reports, Kaushik may join Juniper Networks as head of its India operations.
