All seven shortlisted companies have successfully cleared the technical evaluation stage in the second round of the IndiaAI Mission’s graphics processing units (GPU) tender. Their commercial bids were opened on Thursday afternoon.

The lowest (L1) prices and corresponding bidders for various GPU models will reportedly be disclosed next week.

The qualified bidders include Netmagic (now NTT Global Data Centres and Cloud Infrastructure), Cyfuture India, Sify Digital Services, Vensysco Technologies, Locuz Enterprise Solutions, Yotta Data Services, and Ishan Infotech.

Further, the centre received bids offering a total of 18,000 GPUs in this round, with expectations of final supply reaching 15,000 units. In comparison, the first round of the GPU tender concluded in February saw 14,517 GPUs being made available at subsidised rates to Indian startups, academic institutions, and research organisations.
