Airtel tests its 5G network on 26 GHz and 3300 MHz bands in West Bengal

Bharti Airtel has successfully tested its 5G services and data speeds on the 26 GHz or millimetre (mmWave) band and 3300 MHz spectrum bands in West Bengal.

The Department of Telecommunications (DoT) West Bengal licensed service area wing undertook the testing to figure out the minimum rollout obligations (MRO). The data speed recorded for the 3300 MHz spectrum band was 566 Mbps while for the 26 GHz bands, it was 1 Gbps.
