Bharti Airtel has announced that it has rolled out more than 2,400 new 5G sites across Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh over the past 12 months, strengthening network coverage and improving internet speeds for customers in the two states.
The expansion spans 87 districts and is expected to deliver consistent, high-speed connectivity to around 36 million users across urban centres, smaller towns, and remote rural villages. The enhanced network will support smoother video streaming, quicker downloads, uninterrupted online work and learning, and more dependable digital payment services.
Further, as per the telco, subscribers in major districts such as Indore, Bhopal, Gwalior, Jabalpur, Rewa, Ujjain, Sagar, Raipur, Bilaspur, Durg, Dewas, Korba and Rajnandgaon, among others, are set to benefit directly from the expanded 5G footprint.
