Bharti Airtel has appointed Sarang Kanade as director, customer experience, India and South Asia. Kanade, who is currently CEO of the Delhi circle, will replace Raghunath Mandava, who has taken over as COO, Airtel Africa. In his new role, Kanade will report to Airtel India CEO Gopal Vittal. Kanade joined Airtel in March 2010 and has held senior positions such as COO and CEO in the Upper North Hub (Punjab, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh and Jammu & Kashmir). In the past, Kanade has worked with Spencers Retail as vice-president (VP) and with Marico in various sales roles.
