Anil Dhirubhai Ambani Enterprises (ADAE) plans to invest Rs 5 billion in Reliance Telecom. Reliance Telecom, which provides GSM mobile services, operates under two brands, Smart for prepaid and Reliance Mobile for post-paid customers. Its network is spread across 13 states and it has a subscriber base of 1.5 million. The proposed investment in Reliance Telecom follows ADAE’s announcement of investments in Reliance Capital and Reliance Energy.
