According to TRAI calculations, CDMA-based mobile operators such as Reliance Infocomm and Tata Teleservices Limited (TTSL) have done better in terms of average revenue per user (ARPU) than GSM-based service providers. During the quarter ended December 2005, the all-India ARPUs for CDMA operators increased by 5 per cent to Rs 256 from Rs 244 in the previous quarter, while that of GSM operators saw a decline of 3.2 per cent from Rs 381 to Rs 362 in the same period.
