- The total internet subscriber base increased from 429.23 million in September 2017 to 560.01 million in September 2018, a growth of around 30.5 per cent.
- Wireless continued to be the dominant technology and constituted about 96.2 per cent of the total number of internet subscribers. Long term evolution (LTE) emerged as the most preferred technology.
