Keysight Technologies has introduced a solution that supports simultaneous cellular and Wi-Fi testing. The T5510S Cellular + Wi-Fi Emulation system is a powerful and flexible platform enabled by a combination of Keysight’s UXM network emulator and Ixia’s Wave Test system. According to Keysight, this is the first test platform to cover a complete cellular and Wi-Fi system, from data traffic generation to physical transmission.
User experience testing in mobile devices requires the evaluation of application performance in real-world conditions. The solution combines both the technologies to provide a deeper understanding of the challenges as devices switch between long term evolution (LTE) and wireless local areas network (LAN) systems.
It also includes Keysight’s flexible Test Automation platform and built-in test cases. This complete system delivers advanced capabilities for testing with the latest cellular standards such as LTE/internet of things as well as all Wi-Fi protocols such as 802.11a/b/g/n/ac under a wide range of traffic conditions.
The solution helps customers improve performance and time-to-market by prototyping, evaluating and diagnosing complex interoperability environments.
