Sify Technologies Limited has announced the appointment of Arindam Mukherjee as regional chief executive officer (CEO) for the western region, India. Prior to this, he was area ­ope­ra­tions director, enterprise business (India and SAARC), at Cisco, responsible for driving business in the financial services, e-commerce, energy and manufacturing verticals. During a career spanning 20 years, Mukherjee has been associated with organisations such as Cisco, Intel and HCL, where he has held various positions across the enterprise, commercial and ­communi­cations divisions. He has led large businesses, teams and country initiatives across India and SAARC.
