The GSM Association (GSMA) has appointed Manoj Misra as senior public policy director for India. He will work to identify opportunities in the mobile industry in India and will report to Emanuela Lecchi, head of public policy, Asia Pacific. Prior to this appointment, Misra was GM and head, regulatory and external affairs at Vodafone India. In the past, he has also worked as deputy adviser at the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India.
