Idea Cellular has launched a new prepaid recharge plan priced at Rs 357 with a validity of 28 days. The plan offers 2 GB data per day along with unlimited local and STD calls, and free roaming (outgoing) calls. In addition, the plan offers 100 local and national SMSs. The usage limit for voice calls is 250 minutes per day and 1,000 minutes per week. The plan also offers other benefits such as 100 per cent cashback offer and an additional 1 GB free data for customers recharging through the “My Idea” app or Idea’s official website. The new prepaid plan has been initially introduced in the Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh circle.
Vodafone India has launched a new prepaid recharge plan priced at Rs 348, which offers 2 GB data per day. The plan is available for subscribers in Delhi-NCR, and comes with a validity of 28 days. It is applicable to both 4G and 3G subscribers. Under the plan, subscribers can avail of unlimited local, STD and roaming calls with a daily cap of 250 minutes, after which Re 0.01 per second will be charged. There is a weekly cap of 1,000 minutes. Besides, customers are eligible for a 5 per cent cashback if they recharge using the app or the company’s website.
Reliance Jio Infocomm Limited (RJIL) has revised its prepaid plans and is offering an additional 500 MB data per day to subscribers. RJIL’s plans offering 1 GB data per day are priced at Rs 149, Rs 349, Rs 399 and Rs 449, with a validity of 28 days, 70 days, 84 days and 91 days respectively. Meanwhile, the company’s Rs 198, Rs 398, Rs 448 and Rs 498 plans offer 1.5 GB of data per day and come with a validity of 28 days, 70 days, 84 days and 91 days respectively. As per the revised plan, subscribers will get an additional 500 MB data per day, over and above the normal allocation. Subscribers who have purchased the plans on or after January 26, 2018 can avail the benefits of these revised plans.
Airtel has revised its prepaid recharge plan priced at Rs 199. The plan now offers 1.4 GB of 3G/4G data per day for a period of 28 days. This plan also provides unlimited local, STD and roaming calls along with 100 free SMSs daily. Earlier, Airtel’s Rs 199 prepaid plan offered 1 GB of 3G/4G data per day along with similar other benefits.
Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) has collaborated with Detel Mobile to offer the Detel D1 feature phone at a price of Rs 499. The phone will come bundled with a BSNL SIM connection. Besides, consumers will get free talk time of Rs 103, BSNL-to-BSNL calls will be chargeable at Re 0.15 per minute while calls to other networks will be chargeable at Re 0.40 per minute. Apart from this, BSNL is offering a validity of 365 days for the first recharge and a free caller tune for 28 days.
BSNL has launched a new tariff plan priced at Rs 1,099 that offers unlimited data, unlimited local and national calls, 100 free SMSs per day and a personalised caller tune with a validity of 84 days under its KOOL prepaid plan. Under this plan, BSNL claims to offer data at Rs 13 per day without any speed restriction on a pan-Indian level. Recently, BSNL extended the validity of its select prepaid mobile plans by 43 per cent and increased the data offered by 50 per cent. Under the revised scheme, the prepaid plan priced at Rs 485 will offer 1.5 GB data per day with a validity of 90 days and the Rs 666 pack will offer 1.5 GB data per day with a validity of 129 days with unlimited local, STD and roaming calls.
