Reliance Jio has installed 1,529 telecom towers across key tribal villages in Andhra Pradesh to provide 4G coverage to these areas. This includes the Araku valley, Borra Caves, Lambasingi, and Kothapalli waterfalls.

Further, high-speed 4G network is also being provided in remote areas of Paderu, Chintapalli, Maredumilli, Rampachodavaram, Addateegala, G.Madugula, Pedabayalu, G.K Veedhi, and Dumbriguda.

Jio had recently acquired additional 6.25 MHz of the 850 MHz band in Andhra Pradesh. Further, the operator had also acquired 4.2 MHz of 1800 MHz band and 10 MHz to the 2300 MHz spectrum band in Andhra Pradesh. As of present, Jio has deployed all of these spectrums throughout the 10,462 sites spread across the state.

The additional deployment of this 20 MHz spectrum across Andhra Pradesh has enhanced the total spectrum availability in the region by 50 per cent.
