Ashwini Vaishnaw, minister for communications, electronics and information technology and railways has assured the Arunachal Pradesh government of funding the extension of its state wide area networks (SWAN).
The government would fund the extension of SWAN to all uncovered districts, right up to the block level to ensure the growth of internet governance services in the state.
The assurance was given in a meeting held between Vaishnaw and chairman of the state council for IT and e-governance Doni Nich and lok sabha MP from the state Tapir Gao recently.
