According to MediaTek, it is partnering with Indian original equipment makers (OEMs) to strengthen its footprint in the country across advanced technologies.
The partnership will focus on technologies such as 5G, the internet of things (IoT), Wi-Fi routers in smartphones and smart devices to boost the smart device ecosystem.
To this end, MediaTek has partnered with Realme to power mass-market smartphones with the latest MediaTek Dimensity 1200 5G chipset in India. The Dimensity 1200 5G chip comes with support for Dual 5G SIM, 5G Carrier Aggregation (5G CA) across TDD/FDD, and new 5G bands.
