The Metropolitan Stock Exchange of India (MSE) has selected an NTT Data facility in Mumbai to host its trading platform as part of a relaunch initiative. MSE will lease 6.4 megawatts of capacity at NTT GDC’s Chandivali data centre campus for a high-density IT deployment aimed at modernising its technology backbone for multi-asset trading across capital markets, derivatives and debt.
NTT GDC’s Chandivali campus is described by the company as India’s largest operational data centre park, housing an ecosystem of carriers, cloud providers and financial services firms. Its proximity to market participants reduces latency, making it well-suited for high-frequency trading and market data dissemination. The facility supports rack densities of up to 17.2 kilowatts.
