Cyient is set to acquire US-based TAO Digital Solutions Inc., an artificial intelligence (AI)-native data and product engineering company, in a transaction that implies an enterprise value of nearly $218 million (Rs 20.71 billion).
The acquisition remains subject to customary regulatory approvals and closing conditions and is expected to be completed by the second quarter of 2026-27.
The company said the acquisition will enhance its capabilities in AI and data engineering, as well as digital and product engineering, particularly across the automotive, high-tech and health technology sectors.
Cyient added that the deal will significantly expand its customer base in North America and strengthen its delivery footprint across multiple regions.
