According to the managing director and chief executive officer (CEO), Hitachi Energy India, the company has planned to capture up to 30 per cent spending in the country’s data centre sector by offering its integrated “grid-to-rack” power solutions.
The company had previously estimated that 10-15 per cent of total data centre spending in India was addressable through its equipment and software portfolio.
As per him, the “grid-to-rack” solution integrates power infrastructure across the entire value chain, from grid-level connectivity to power distribution at the server rack level within data centres.
The offering is expected to expand the company’s addressable market by an additional 10-15 per cent of power infrastructure spending within the broader data centre segment.
