Avantel, a communications and satellite equipment manufacturer, has secured a Rs 1.23 billion contract from NewSpace India Limited (NSIL), the commercial arm of the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO), for the supply of S- and X-band full-motion antennas with Ka-band support.
The scope of the order includes the supply, installation and commissioning of the antennas, and forms part of NSIL’s satellite communication and ground segment requirements.
Further, the contract is scheduled to be completed by August 2027.
