CtrlS Datacenters has appointed Rahul Dhar as president of its global datacentre operations and promoted Vipin Jain to president of hyperscale growth, delivery, and innovation. Dhar, who joined from Microsoft India where he was country director of data centres, will head the company’s global operations. His responsibilities will include setting up a central command centre for visibility and incident response, driving process excellence through standardisation and automation, and developing training and competency programs to prepare teams for future scale. He will also focus on enhancing operational resilience, improving uptime and recovery, and coordinating infrastructure, facilities, and support functions.
Before Microsoft, Dhar held senior leadership positions at Tata Communications, Colt, and Vodafone, leading global teams and overseeing large-scale programs and process transformations.
Meanwhile, Jain, previously president of data centre operations, will now focus on expanding hyperscale services in India and abroad, strengthening engagement with global hyperscalers, and ensuring timely execution of complex fit-out projects for hyperscale and enterprise clients. He will also lead initiatives around automation, sustainability, and green data centres.
