The India Cellular and Electronics Association (ICEA) has inaugurated a semiconductor leadership forum, which will be chaired by the chief executive officer (CEO) and managing director of Tata Electronics. The forum is tasked with guiding India’s long-term semiconductor strategy, focusing on manufacturing, capital goods, talent development, and innovation.
Meanwhile, CEO of the India Semiconductor Mission, stated that India’s ambition to become a global semiconductor hub is being realised through a combination of targeted policies, strategic investments, and active industry participation.
