Station Satcom, a homegrown satellite communications solutions reseller and distributor, has entered into a partnership with Eutelsat OneWeb to deliver broadband-from-space services to the commercial maritime sector.
Through this collaboration, Station Satcom will extend Eutelsat OneWeb’s low earth orbit (LEO) satellite services to key maritime segments including merchant marine, leisure and yachting, offshore energy, and fishing, across international waters.
The partnership aims to enhance connectivity for over 5,500 vessels and 850 customers currently supported by Station Satcom, by integrating OneWeb’s LEO satellite technology into its communication offerings.
