The Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) has extended the deadline for submission of comments and counter comments on the issues raised in the consultation paper titled ‘Open and De-licensed use of Unused or Limited Used Spectrum Bands for Demand Generation for Limited Period in Terahertz Range’.
The consultation paper was released on September 27, 2023. Initially, the last date for receiving written comments on the issues raised in the consultation paper was fixed as October 25, 2023, and for counter comments as November 8, 2023. However, on the request of industry associations, the last date for submission of written comments and counter comments was extended up to November 15, 2023 and November 29, 2023 respectively.
Now, keeping in view the request of stakeholders for further extension of time for submission of comments, the TRAI has decided to extend the last date for submission of written comments and counter comments up to November 29, 2023 and December 13, 2023 respectively.
As per TRAI, no further requests for extension would be considered.
