Tejas Networks has completed its Rs 74.92 billion contract to supply telecom equipment to Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) for the rollout of 0.1 million 4G and 5G sites. The deal was awarded in August 2023 and was secured as part of a TCS-led consortium after rigorous trials.

BSNL is now preparing to launch its long-awaited 4G services in June 2025. A nationwide 5G upgrade is expected to follow once the 4G network stabilises.

In addition, Tejas Networks is in advanced discussions for additional contracts with BSNL and is eyeing participation in the upcoming Rail Kavach tender for train security systems.
