Nokia has appointed Justin Hotard as its next president and chief executive officer (CEO), following Pekka Lundmark’s decision to step down. Hotard will officially assume the role on April 1, 2025, the company announced.
Lundmark, who has led Nokia since 2020, is stepping down to pursue the next phase of his career.
Hotard, currently leading Intel’s Data Center and artificial intelligence (AI) group, brings over 25 years of experience in global technology firms, focusing on innovation, technology leadership, and revenue growth. He has held senior leadership positions at Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) and NCR Corporation. Further, he will be based at Nokia’s headquarters in Espoo, Finland.
