Nokia Siemens Networks (NSN) has appointed Armando Almeida as head of its global services business with effect from January 2011. He is currently responsible for the company?s sales and operations in Latin America. Almeida will take over from Ashish Chowdhary, who is moving to a newly created position ? head of customer operations, east. Chowdhary will lead the company?s customer and business operations across the Asia-Pacific region and the Middle East.

Further, Dharmesh Malhotra has been appointed as  sub-regional head for South Asia and country head for Malaysia. He will be responsible for NSN?s sales and operations in Malaysia, Singapore, the Philippines, Sri Lanka and Brunei. Prior to this, he was head of services for Indonesia. Malhotra, who has been working with NSN since 2004, will now be based in Malaysia.
