
Bharti Airtel is planning to launch its 4G services in at least 100 cities by the end-2015. The services will be offered at the prevailing 3G prices. Bharti Airtel has 4G spectrum in 14 circles and is presently offering its 4G services in 45 cities and towns in the country. The operator first launched its services in Kolkata in April 2012.
Bharti Airtel has also announced go-to-market partnerships with Samsung and Flipkart for 4G devices. It is also planning to open additional 1,000 company-owned stores by December 2015 to provide customers first-hand experience about its service as well as offer low-priced handsets.
